Brad and I went to the UP this past weekend. It was the first time I had been to/over the Mackinaw Bridge. It was a gorgeous drive, I can only imagine how beautiful it is in the fall. Grandma and Grandpa Matthews, Great Grandma Johnson and Aunt Tricia all watched Cole for us. Cole told us he had a great time there=) Here are some pictures from our trip.
We did some really cool things. We went to Oswald's Bear Ranch and got to see alot of bears. Brad was brave enough to pet the cub. We also went to Sault Ste Marie and saw the Soo Locks. There is a lot to do up north and we enjoyed our time. We stayed at the infamous Matthews Retreat, which is beautiful, right on Lake Superior. We can not wait to go back.
